Okot hold 23 years of engineering experience having worked as a Graduate Trainee Electrical Engineer at Uganda Electricity Board from 1999 to 2001, Dispatch Engineer from 2001 to 2004 at UETCL, Senior Dispatch Engineer from 2004 to 2020, Principal Control Engineer from 2020 to 10th August 2022 and Ag. Manager Operations and Maintenance from 11th August 2022 to date.
